Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary
Mulliner, Bentley's custom coachbuilding unit, has designed a distinctive keycase to mark the 100th anniversary of Bentley. It is made of Dark Stained Burr Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes a fluttering "B" paperweight keys, as well as an album of never-before-seen 1930s 8 Litre images.

Design

Bentley has released a special specification for cars built after 2019 to commemorate its centennial. It is known as the Centenary Specification. The cabin is equipped with cross-stitching and contrast stitching in Centenary Gold throughout. The Bentley Wings on the headrests and seats are stitched in Centenary Gold, adding to the feeling of celebration. The Centenary Specification also includes a bespoke Bentley keycase, completing the Bentley experience.
Function
The Bentley Mulsanne Key has two buttons one of which opens the trunk, and another that turns on the vehicle. The key also has a button to turn on the parking brake. There is a knob that can fold and unfold the mirrors while parking in tight spaces. Using this feature can assist you in getting into and out of your vehicle more easily.
Each key takes two days to create. Personalisation
Bentley's bespoke division, Mulliner, allows customers to essentially design their own vehicle. The configuration that is created is saved to individual R.F.I.D.-enabled keys which are presented to guests in a custom-made key case. Bentley estimates that it takes around 500 man-hours to build and put together a Mulsanne. The reluctance to embrace modern technology is the main factor to this lengthy and laborious process.
